  • Two Oceans Marathon

    This challenging 56km race is considered as the most beautiful marathon because of the unrivalled beauty of the scenery on route which includes clear oceans and breath taking mountains as well as hundreds of supporters alongside the race. It is an absolutely unforgettable experience! There is a half marathon for runners who prefer a shorter but nonetheless beautiful route. The 21km is run on the same day as the Ultra marathon. Please note that entries are limited and pre-entry is essential. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before the race, a well attended Expo at the Cape Town International Convention Centre is the place of registration.     This is one the world’s top ultra distance races which is run between Pietermaritzburg and Durban, the distance is approximately 89 km.The race is run on the roads of KwaZulu-Natal Province, marked by “The Big Five” set of hills. On the up run they appear in the following order: Cowies Hill, Field’s Hill, Botha’s Hill, Inchanga, and finally, Polly Shortts.     This event offers a full and half marathon as well as a 4.2 km fun run. The route is fairly fast and flat and takes you from the Kingdom Hotel across the Victoria Falls Bridge, briefly into Zambia and finishes at the Victoria Falls High School. You can expect some stunning views and landscapes including African wildlife along the route. We will tailor make your marathon experience and include any activities you may be interested in. Victoria Falls is a Mecca of adventure sports like white water rafting, bungee jumping, canoeing or you can enjoy an Elephant back safari or game viewing from an open game vehicle.     This is the biggest timed cycling event in the world with over 37000 participants. The 110 km route leads from the start in the city centre towards the scenic Boyes Drive and Simon’s Town. The road continues past the entrance of Cape Point National Park and then winds its way past Scarborough and Ocean View towards Chapman’s Peak which is one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. A steep ascent up the notorious Suikerbossie Hill will get the cyclists to the finish area at Green Point.
